Role Purpose Statement :
As an apprentice accounts assistant, you will assist finance personnel by offering accounting and administrative support
Responsibility:
- Ensuring the precision of customer and supplier accounts through the reception, processing, and organization of paperwork.
- Aiding in the administration and oversight of all company accounts receivable, guaranteeing the accurate recording and invoicing of debts.
- Supporting treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and resolving outstanding items.
- Ensuring accurate recording and accounting for passenger, cargo, and other revenues.

2. APPRENTICE PROCUREMENT OFFICER – TECHNICAL (Dar es Salaam) (1 Position(s))
Role Purpose Statement :
To implement and maintain cost effective procurement requirements in the form of purchase, hire, lease and entire supply chain management thus facilitating shareholders return on investment, and customers’ satisfaction.
Responsibility:
- Facilitate the determination and preparation of budgets for materials and supplies.
- Ensure stakeholders adhere to laid down procurement procedures and policies to improve current practices and reduce costs.
- Understand needs of internal customers focusing on specifications, lead times and liaising with external parties to ensure timely delivery of the respective needs.
- Prioritize sourcing and ordering on the basis of AOGs, Critical, Normal , Scheduled and Unscheduled requirements in order to reduce
- Lay grounds for supply chain management reflected in receipt of duly detailed and approved Purchase Requisitions, CAPEX Forms, timely requests for quote (RFQs), Comparative cost analysis, award, order tracking and timely delivery
- Monitor supply markets and trends (e.g. material price increases, shortages, changes in suppliers) and interpreting the impact of these trends on company strategies in order to deliver the best value for money and increase in profits.
- Review purchase requests to ensure that the materials and supplies purchased have the greatest value for organizational needs.
- Prepare purchase orders strictly in the accounting system and ensure approval and signature of the approved signatories
- Purchase materials and services according to sound purchasing procedures and practices.
- Obtain, verify and provide information related to purchases and matters to user departments, vendors and contractors; provide technical information and assistance to user departments; review requisitions for completeness and accuracy to obtain information related to price, product quality and delivery time lines.
