We are looking for a Revenue Assurance Analyst to enhance business intelligence, monitor revenue accuracy, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, fraud prevention, and revenue assurance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other ICT-related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and data analysis tools.
Core Responsibilities
- Improve business intelligence through query development and data analysis.
- Understand products, services, and different integrations within the ecosystem.
- Prepare and present findings, including monthly revenue assurance reports, trends, dashboards, and key metrics for stakeholders.
- Conduct end-to-end process reviews to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance revenue accuracy and reduce losses.
- Undertake product assurance and conduct margin analysis to establish profitability over time.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive documentation of revenue assurance procedures and controls.
- Set up alarms to track and monitor abnormal activities and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent fraud and revenue leakages.
- Verify and monitor various products and services to ensure accurate pricing and charging.
- Ensure correctness of revenue reports, commissions, and regulatory reports.
- Execute Revenue Assurance Internal Controls in a timely and accurate manner to resolve issues effectively.
Core Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Knowledge of mobile money business, financial systems, billing systems, and revenue recognition principles.
