About JVACEE
JVACEE (Joint Venture of Arab Contractors and El-Sewedy Electric) is an engineering, procurement, and construction company undertaking the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project (JNHPP) in Tanzania. Located at Stiegler’s Gorge on the Rufiji River, this project aims to deliver 2,115 megawatts of installed capacity, significantly enhancing Tanzania’s power generation capabilities.
JVACEE invites qualified candidated to fill the following vacancies:
1. General Accountant
Job Purpose:
The general accountant will be responsible in facilitating timely payment to various stakeholder including supplier within payment terms. To check and verify if all invoices are accompanied with their proper supporting as well as reconciling invoices, verify and recording expense and handling routine financial tasks and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Accountabilities
Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems.
Recording day-to-day financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
Ensuring all transactions are properly documented and categorized
Assisting with the reconciliation of bank accounts, petty cash, and general ledgers.
Identifying discrepancies in accounts and reporting them to the manager.
Ensuring that all accounts are balanced and up-to-date.
Reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices and ensuring proper approval is obtained.
Assisting in the payment cycle, ensuring timely payments to vendors and employees.
Tracking outstanding payments and following up where necessary.
Organizing and maintaining accurate filing systems for financial records.
Ensuring that records are easily accessible for reporting or audit purposes.
Personal Skills
Communication Skills: Clearly convey financial concepts and cost implications to non-financial team members.
Active listening is also crucial to understand production needs.Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with production staff to align financial goals with operational capabilities.
Being approachable and supportive fosters a positive working environment.Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively, especially when dealing with tight deadlines. This ensures that
costing information is provided in a timely manner to aid decision-making.
Qualification & Education:
Bachelor’s degree Finance/commerce/Accounting in or a relevant discipline.
From 2 to 4 years of experience in a business field.
Good in Microsoft Office suite.
Business fluency in English.
2. Sales Lead- Distribution
Increasing Market Penetration (MP): increasing geographical penetration of distribution network, adding direct or indirect points of sales, establishing strong brand
Increasing Store Penetration (SP): increasing sales per point of sale, widening product portfolio, establishing high rotation Hero Products
To identify, qualify and realize sales opportunities by providing solutions towards our customers including sales in complex project environments.
To achieve and / or exceed individual and team sales budget.
To build and retain excellent relationship with key accounts. To ensure professional and business ethic when dealing with customers. Leading of distribution sales team.

Key Accountabilities
Buildup of strong key account management relationships with distributors (store penetration)
Negotiate targets and pricing
Define action plans including joint marketing activities and trainings
Follow-up sales
Expand product range and rotation
Expand distribution network (market penetration)
Identify and win new customers
Ensure presence of products in defined hotspot areas and across the country
Establish a strong distribution brand (market penetration)
Work closely together with Marketing to build up a strong distribution brand
Ensure strong visual presence at points of sale
Ensure the Sales Process is applied and that the customers are served with solutions.
Prospect and qualify opportunities well in advance (including cross-selling opportunities), sound product know-ledge and ability to quickly assemble information is key
Ensure that sales opportunities pipeline is updated and filled. Maximize sales efficiency and employment of resources by effective sales
Ensure systematic follow-up and realization of Close sales.
Retain customers and provide key account management
Reports
Systematic and complete documentation and follow-up of activities, opportunities, projects and stake holders. Ensure on-time delivery of reports for Regional sales director and other Corporate functions.
Anticipate customer demands, forecast sales.
Organizing of Seminars, trainings and launches; to plan and conduct product and application systems seminars to customers. Build up applicators’ data base. Define training plan for relevant stakeholders (applicators, distributors, contractors, specifiers, government agencies).
Team Lead; Lead distribution sales team:
Set objectives together with Regional sales director and pro-actively follow them up
Ensure coordination between departments and within sales team to ensure highest possible responsiveness towards customer inquiries. Oversee all sales activities and customer relationships of team members.
Provide guidance and support if necessary.
Develop team members and ensure that there is a proper deputy system in place
Any other duties that may be assigned within this function.
HSE Responsibilities

Qualification & Education:

5-8 years of experience in Sales or Business Development functions for Electrical business segments.
Good Technical experience in Electrical products.
Good knowledge of the Local market.
Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent listening and negotiating abilities combined with the aptitude to run high value sales strategies
Excellent organizations skills
Good in Microsoft Office suite, ERP/CRM related tool is a plus
Business fluency in English .
Technical competencies:
Understanding of the entire Sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, capture management, technical solution design, proposal writing, costing, applicable regulations and closing deals.
Ability to provide technical data built around specific customer or project requirements to adapt required technical solutions into existing or new products and generate correct product specification.
Ability to analyze customers’ technical specifications.

Prospecting and sales call management.
Ability to collect, analyze and utilize market data regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and market trends.

3. Logistics Specialist – Export
Job Purpose
The logistics specialist is responsible for ensuring that the inbound and outbound logistics and transportation of goods and raw material are efficient and effective throughout the company and associated third parties.
Key Accountabilities
Shipper coordination on freight and loading on Tanzania shipment
Pre check of all documentation (BL packing, list, COC)
Manage the inbound loads and coordinate with production for accurate arrival times and space availability.
Freight negotiation and compliance with Tanzania shipping regulation
Managing the seamless movement of the consignment to the destination and ensuring timely deliveries
Managing inventory levels.
Resolving delivery issues, maintaining accurate records.
Analysing data to optimize logistics processes.
Complying with regulations, and collaborating with suppliers and customers to maintain a smooth supply chain.
Undertake other tasks as may be directed by Management
HSE Responsibilities
