Job Overview
CRDB Bank is seeking a highly motivated Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking to drive growth in our corporate banking portfolio. This role focuses on acquiring and managing relationships with private financial institutions, insurance companies, large corporations, and multinational organizations to enhance deposits and income in alignment with the bank’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire high-net-worth corporate clients to drive business growth in deposits, income, and value chain opportunities.
Oversee the Insurance and Financial Institutions sector to maximize business potential.
Mobilize deposits and identify new business opportunities from existing and potential clients.
Negotiate investment rates to optimize the bank’s deposit base while minimizing interest expenses.
Actively engage with current and potential customers to expand the bank’s market share.
Dedicate 50–75% of time to customer outreach, identifying business needs, and driving sales.
Collaborate with branch teams to explore funding sources and deepen relationships with institutions and multinational organizations.
Prepare and deliver formal presentations and proposals to corporate clients and at business events.
Contribute to the development of both short- and long-term business strategies.
Monitor and review portfolio performance, recommending necessary actions for improvement.
Organize and participate in customer business forums to strengthen client relationships.
Drive cross-selling opportunities, providing leads for business units such as Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors, Staff Loans, Insurance, and Trade Finance.
Act as the primary point of contact between the bank and corporate clients, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries.
Conduct profitability analysis and market research to maintain a competitive edge.
Facilitate financial advisory services for stakeholders within the sector.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in business relationship management with a focus on deposit mobilization.
Proven ability to onboard new customers and grow a corporate banking portfolio.
Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and delivery channels.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
