JVACEE (Joint Venture of Arab Contractors and El-Sewedy Electric) is an engineering, procurement, and construction company undertaking the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project (JNHPP) in Tanzania. Located at Stiegler’s Gorge on the Rufiji River, this project aims to deliver 2,115 megawatts of installed capacity, significantly enhancing Tanzania’s power generation capabilities.
The JNHPP is designed not only to boost electricity production but also to manage flood control and support irrigation efforts, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development. JVACEE’s involvement encompasses all project phases, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
