Job Overview:
The Pre-seller will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and gathering information on market trends and client needs to support the sales process. The role involves working closely with the sales team to qualify leads and set up meetings for sales representatives to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and market research.
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and gather relevant information to help shape sales strategies.
Qualify leads by assessing their potential for conversion and passing them on to the sales team.
Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, or calls between potential clients and the sales team.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transition of leads from the pre-sales to the sales phase.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, services, and market trends to effectively engage with potential customers.
Track and report on lead generation activities, providing regular updates to the Area Sales Manager.
Assist in organizing sales events, presentations, or promotional activities to create awareness and generate leads.
Collect feedback from potential customers and relay it to the sales and marketing teams for process improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (1-2 years) in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a sales team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the company’s products and services and an understanding of market trends is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Positive, motivated attitude with a desire to learn and contribute to the success of the sales team.
